We’re a married couple currently living in sunny Southern California and trying to capture its beauty every chance we get. Photography and videography have played a major role in our relationship the past seven and a half years and in Matt’s life long before that. He grew up with a fascination for cameras and taught himself how to use one by creating homemade movies and taking photos of his friends and family. Now over a decade later, we’ve taken that same fascination for capturing the beauty we see in life, combined with our love for storytelling and making new friends, and channeled it toward new creative projects with our clients.
After meeting in college and dating for four years, Matt proposed on the beach at Three Arch Bay. Six months later was the wedding date, but only four months later was the emergence of the Coronavirus Pandemic. With all the uncertainties and regulations, we made the decision to cancel the plans for our big wedding extravaganza and, instead, tie the knot in an intimate, family-only ceremony in the backyard of Matt’s childhood home. Although it was never what we had planned, in hindsight, we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Well, maybe some more dancing…
